I believe I saw a product like this in one of my editions of Videomaker, but I can't seem to find it now. Maybe someone can correct me or point me in the right direction. It will be apprecaited.

A software/PC-based application that will allow me to take LIVE FEEDS from a camera (mini DV), superimpose graphics (and maybe manipulate audio, hopefully with a built in mixer) and have the final video/sound be sent to a projector/screen. Maybe it will come with its own card or will be compatible with cards already available in the market.

Sounds like a very basic product, right? Its gotta be out there somewhere...

I don't think I can afford more than $500, but I will still look at anything.

Thanks a lot.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for but it might help...

PCDJ-VJ

There's a free demo to try. Its made by the same people who do PCDJ.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the link James. Will look into it.

Serious Magic also has something that may be useful for anyone looking into this sort of thing here:

Union is another product:

So I found the software/hardware combo below that does precisely what I want. Updating this thread just in case anyone's looking for a similar Church solution:
