Could anyone recommend a good raincover for an XL2 equipped with a FU-1000 viewfinder? Until recently, I shot with a XL1s, thus I have a KATA raincover that was meant for a XL1s. When I put the FU on the XL1s, the raincover fit awkwardly, and now that I have the XL2 with the FU on it, the raincover leaves the back end of the camera, including the XLR ports completely exposed. Having searched a little on the internet, it seems that most raincovers are either too small, or meant for a beta cam. Any suggestions?

Hi Alex, thanks for the link. It's good to know someone is reading my stuff. (grin)

The cover will fit with the FU-1000 on the camera but it's a bit of a struggle. Fortunately, as stated in the review, there is a lot of extra room at the back so this cover won't leave any parts exposed. But yes, I did use it on my XL2 with the FU-1000 mounted on it.

Dan, I bought the Kata RC-10 Pro Rain Cover from B&H to use with my XL2, see link:

You got plenty of space inside with this, no problems with the FU-1000.
