Can someone give me a rough guestimate of the approximate weight of the IDX battery kit? Not the camera, just the Kit that was part of the promo.

Do you mean the whole kit (charger, bracket and 2 batteries) or the bracket and a single battery mounted on the camera?

A single battery is 1.16lbs. The bracket I'm sure is no more than that (I have the IDX kit on my HD100)

Approx 2lbs additional weight when on the camera.

The IDX it weighs 1lb 15oz on the dot. That is the E7s battery and mount that goes on the camera.
