View Full Version : Laptop as monitor David Phillips July 22nd, 2006, 01:31 PM Hi Does anyone know if it's possible to use a Toshiba laptop as a monitor for XL1s? Laptop has S-Video out. No firewire. Cheers David Chris Barcellos July 22nd, 2006, 02:08 PM Assuming you have USB input, you could use a USB TV Card. And feed into it throught the SVideo conection from the camera, to the TV Card. If the camera doesn't have USB, then you are going to use the composite output from the camera to the TV Card. The TV card from there, through it program, throughs a TV picture on you laptop.
