I need help choosing a windscreen for my future microphone. That's right, I don't even have the microphone yet, but I'm buying the windscreen first, so when I get enough money for my microphone, I could use eveything I bought for it right away.
So which to buy for the Audio Technica AT4073a:
Rycote 12cm Medium Hole Softie

Or
K-Tek Medium Slip On Fuzzy
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=386248&is=REG&addedTroughType=search
I'm leaning more towards the K-Tek.
Which is higher quality?
Which can handle more wind?
Which would you pick? Reasons?
I only got about $100 to spend on the windscreen, so I can't get those full windscreen kits that are around $500.
I got most of my audio equipment (Beachtek DXA-8, 25ft Canare Star-Quad XLR cable, Audio Technica AT8415 shockmount, and Sony MDR-7506 headphones) except 3 main components, the microphones (Audio Technica AT4073a first, then an Audio Technica AT4053a), K-Tek KE110CCR boom pole, and a windscreen for the shotgun.
