Hi - I was wondering if anyone has closeup pictures of how kino flos normally mount to standard light stand - I'm trying to decide on a mounting style for some home made kinos.

Anytime I've used Kinoflos they've been mounted on C stands, not light stands. They usually have a rod similar in diameter to those found on large flags for fitting into the "c" clamp. This rod has a lockable ball inside a socket fitted on a plate that is attached to the back of the Kinoflo. A car type ball joint doesn't need to operate at such an extreme angle. |
