The Merom 2.16GHZ Core 2 Duo will likely be our recommended configuration for Silicon recording. This will give us some headroom to deliver more features and capabilities.

New CineformRAW recorder solution is a MiniPC (Small Form Factor) Aopen MP945-VXR based on Merom. http://global.aopen.com.tw/

The limitation of this Aopen architecture is the single memory bus which is limiting overall memory bandwidth. The 945GM integrated graphics uses the common memory and becomes a bottleneck for the demanding HD perfromance. We tested this architecture on Core Duo (Yonah) and it could not keep up.

My mistake. I need to read specs more carefully...Thank you, Ari!
What you can say about Commell LS-570 5.25" Core Duo Embedded Miniboard (http://www.commell.com.tw/News/News/News_20060828-LS570.htm)?
