...that doesn’t use skate or rollerblade wheels?
I want to make a ride on track dolly but don’t want to use the small wheels. Any other alternatives?

Yes, these people made one and it looks really good.

Bill,

What did you use for those wheel's? Are they go-cart wheels? Please let me know. Thanks.

I don't think this one can go on tracks, can it?

Yeah, I saw that. I was thinking of something that didn't need a set of wheels on two different angles and something I could roll over a ladder as a track.

Gabriel,

I misread his post, here are the wheels I used.

I got mine for $3 each with “damaged tubes” all of them held air.
I did not see those for sale this time.

Michael,

Sorry, I misread your post. No it does not use track.

Yeah, I have been looking around and it seems nobody have done a track dolly with other wheels besides skate/rollerblade ones. I'm trying to make something with bigger wheels since it won't be a light weight dolly.

How much wieght are we talking about?
I have put over 300lbs on my skate board dolly with no problem.
I seems the more wieght the smoother it goes. :-)

Scateboard wheels are fine. If you want to make it heavier, just use more wheels. They carry a lot of weight, and are smoother than most others.

I want to have the operator and AC riding on it, plus be able to have a jib on it too(not at the same time). I really want to use a ladder for tracks and skate wheels won't work on a square track.

Ok thank you! I'll have to keep those in the back of my mind for when I make my dolly. Thanks!
