I ordered a WiebeTech ComboGB drive enclosure for my 100 GB Hitachi TravelStar. When I ordered it from WiebeTech, they said they would send it with the correct firmware so it would work with my FireStore FS-1.

Well... it does not work. I get a "NO DISK" message on the FS-1. I have tried formatting the drive NTFS and FAT32 and it makes no difference.

I am thinking they did not send it with the correct firmware. Does anyone here know what version firmware I am supposed to have? Does anyone here have a copy they can email me along with directions of how to downgrade? I would like to get this taken care of this weekend instead of waiting for WiebeTech to open on Monday.

I think your best bet would be to check with Wiebetech if it involves firmware on the drive.

I was speaking with Jim at Focus yesterday and he said that if I sent it in to Focus they could get it to work... so I assume Focus has the firmware - maybe not.

I thought maybe someone here on this board would have a copy of the correct firmware. The firmware is for the ComboGB enclosure, not the drive.
