Has anybody seen or heard of anybody using a 35mm fisheye lens mounted to an EOS adapter and used on an XL2? I'd be very curious to see some results.

Tony Davies-Patrick July 13th, 2006, 12:41 AM This lens would still be multiplied many times (approx 7X with the XL1 and approx 8X with XL2) - so the fishe-eye affect would not be of any use. This is why wide angle adapters are placed on the front of the original 20X or 16X lenses, or the Canon AF 3X lens is used. ALL SLR lenses become longer telephoto lenses when the normal EOS or Nikkor/Canon FD/Minolta/Contax etc adapters are used. It is a must for rap or skate videos =o) ash =o) |
