Shortly going to make the move from VX2000 to Z1 so I'm sorting out my shopping list of accessories.

I'm looking for a wide angle adapter. Having had my Canon 0.7x W/A adapter on and off my VX2000 so many times, I really fancy a bayonet fitting this time. I'm not good with fiddly screw threads in a hurry. So I guess it has to be Century, right?

The 0.7x Century looks very nice but pricey at $799. Does anyone have feedback from using it?

How about the 0.8x ($499) and 0.6x ($349, not zoom-through)? How are people getting on with those?

Any other recommendations apart from Century?

Also are there decent sunshades available for these? The one on my Canon has been great but it looks like the Century ones come without.

Thanks!

Nick

Thanks Boyd. I had read the first thread. Very sorry I missed the 2nd one which is quite recent and applicable.

Could a mod possibly delete this thread and I'll follow up on the other one:
