Marcus Marchesseault July 3rd, 2006, 04:59 AM My personal taste would say to take the color, filter, and DOF effect down a notch. Regardless, that is not what is important. I think it is nice little piece with good editing and shooting that also happens to look good. Good job and "Hana Hou"! (Hawaiian for "encore!") I think most shorts could benefit from simplicity and good storytelling. This short seemed like a piece in an art museum where it captures your interest for a moment, communicates it's feeling, and then the moment is over. Short and sweet is good. BTW, you forgot to list the girl in the credits and that was the cutest part (I don't want to spoil it so I am being vague). Tom Chaney July 6th, 2006, 04:16 AM Albert, Nice work. Tom Chaney www.tomchaney.com Albert Rudnicki July 6th, 2006, 09:46 AM Thanks Tom The color was done with both: MB and after effects(basic color correction and patches) Marcus : I agree with you, I have pushed it a bit, but it was mainly done as a test to show capabilities of the equipment I have. I am prepping for a small (small) budget features movie and I have to convince a lot of people what can be achieved with video. Amazing mastery of all the 'tricks' for the filmic look. My question is, what did you do to acheieve the film-ic frame rate?
