I am on a final stage of making new version for Letus35XL and Letus35HD100. Less lightloss and sharper focus is my main goal. Size is bigger since they are redesigned base on the Letus35 Flip Enhanced. They will be ready in about 2-4 weeks, thanks.

Very exciting, Quyen. Are you anticipating a price change or will it be the same as the original Letus35XL?

Just called the machine shop today and they seems having some problem with the machine and will delay the part a little. I think it's more likely 3-4 weeks instead of 2-4. I will keep you all posted, thanks.

Sweet!!!! Can't wait to try this one out. :)

I really like the current Letus35XL for SD, but I had some issues with it in HD with the H1. Hopefully this one will take care of that! :)

Quyen,
I can't wait to try this out as well.
I love the Letus35-XL with the H1 and enjoy seeing it getting better and better

After Lyons report, I'm excited but with a caveat. Will the new LetusXLflip enhanced for the HD100 support it's 1280x720 resolution. I see that SD is a snap, so hoping HD looks good too. If it does, then finally a solution that doesn't require my stock lens. Hooray!!! I'll find a way to get the money.

Joe -
The res comes down slightly with all 35mm adapters. However,
Quyen's Does Not go on top of the stock lens so you get better res and less light loss...
The Res of High Def is a challenge and that's why the GG must vibrate. I own the V.1 of the Letus35XL which I use on the Canon XL-H1 and I Love it. The res is very sharp. Is it sharper without the adapter? Yes, of course, but it is very good: Here are some tests I did with the Canon XL-H1 and the first Letus35XL:

the m2t files are 24p and can be played with VLC media player:

Can't wait to try the Next Incarnation, Hope this helps,

Thanks, I'll download when I get home tonight to a faster connection.
I understand there will be some loss, I just hope not a lot. I would like to
hook up some Cooke Primes if possible.

From what I have read, am I correct in thinking I can mount a Letus35 HD100 on my HD100 without the stock lens attached? Excellent!

How is it mounted on the HD100 body?

Any photos of it yet?

Thanks

Andrew
