Can anyone identify the tripod head in this photo?

I have the $14 steadicam ( http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~johnny/steadycam/ )and I want to attach my FX1 because it is so light and appears to work with this steadicam. I've emailed Johnny but no response.

its a just a photography head, they are all like that.

I'm revisting this thread because I still want to buy a cheap tripod head to mount my FX1 onto the $14 stedicam (in the link above). Where can I buy one of these and what exactly am I asking for?
