I get a call yesterday, from somebody in Hollywood Florida name of Joe Burns. It seems he was contacted when I registered my camera with JVC, and he wanted to know where I got it from. I told him I bought it from Tapeworks Texas, because they were a sponser of this site. He didn't know who they were, and was asking all sorts of questions about them.

Bottom line was, he wanted to let me know that he was the big dealer down here, that I should call him if I need anything else. I figure if he were such a bigtime dealer, I should have heard of him. In the meantime, I'm happy with Tapeworks.

By the way, this is just a gripe about how 3rd parties get your information, and use it to annoy you with sales calls. I'm not happy about it JVC.

I live in Boynton and deal with a lot of different dealers and have never heard of this guy either.

I hate that 3rd party stuff too.
