Hi,
I have just bought the latest Cineform Connect SW and was wondering what the 'de-interlace on capture' quality is like compared to -say- DVFilm applied after capture.
The reason I am asking is read in a formu that you can do 50i->24p with pulldown AND de-interlace on capture which would save a step.

Also, I have a Letus35 -I guess you can also apply the M25 flip soln. at the same time?

Thanks, Nick.

You can do all that, yes, at the same time. The de-interlacing has already been very popular over on the Vegas forums, but I wouldn't say it was better or worse than DVFilm, but it likely to have a slightly different look. It is a matter of personal taste. Doing 50i->24p looks very nice.

The other option is to capture with HDVSplit and then convert the directory of m2t files to 24P as you render them to Cineform.
