I wouldn't say that the footage presented a "significant" reduction in roll and yaw--looked like regular old handheld to me.

some takes looks like unbalanced steadicam. gives me sea sickness.

I would think like any other stabilizer, it would take practice...bit of excess roll though throughout the footage.

Actually it wasn't me, the man is Rupert Chappelle. I came across his video when I did a search for "Steadicam" on that video site.
I'll give him credit for being resourceful, but I still don't think it'll compare to a Steadicam Merlin, IMHO. :)
