Hey guys. I posted this on dvxuser a little while ago, but I might as well post it here too :)
I recently came back from my college where we made this "Final Exam" film.
This is the first film I have written and directed by myself, my friend Lasse did the cinematography
with a standard Dvx-100PAL,
I also had a lighting person and a sound guy with me.

The story is about two brothers. Multi-ethnic Basheider, who is trying to make the daily life more
entertaining for his brother, Rusty, who is paralyzed from the waist-up.

It's 50mb big, in quicktime h.264 format.

Nice little movie.

I had to laugh the most with the part where the brother tells about the rape of his mother. "so... Here I am!"
Deadly funny!
You didn't really make it cheap humor, that's really okay, that's helped by your good acting performances.

I really enjoyed it. Beautifully shot and lit. Wonderful story. Pace was a bit slow when Linda entered. I also think you missed some wonderful opportunities to show Rusty's love of extreme sports. When he's exiting the apartment for instance, Rusty just takes off, maybe he heads for some kids skateboard ramp in the driveway. A couple more things like that would added to the laughs and added to the balance I think.

Very nice job all in all.

Just came home from a long walking trip in the norwegian mountains,
and first now I see all the replies. Thanks for all the positive feedback, guys!
It really means a lot to me, especially since people could easily be
offended by the film if they wanted to.

Again, Thanks a bunch! :)

-Cheers!

I've already watched it several times. Very original and funny story, excellent, transparent acting, lots of humor--such as the foot stomping "code", great cinamatography and sound, beautiful locations. I'm really impressed and inspired.

Thanks man! Didn't expect someone to watch it several times, that's really cool.
I'm happy the film inspired you, that means a lot to me :)
