That's pretty cool. Many years ago when I worked at the Pittsburgh Playhouse, I walked into the dark theatre one day and stumbled around on my way to the light switches. In the dark I noticed there was a little hole in the wall and light was coming in from outside. On the backdrop I saw a huge upside down image of the scene outside, just like the pinhole camera described in that article! Unfortunately, I didn't have a 30'x60' piece of film handy to earn my place in the record book though ;-)
But if you look carefully you can see lots of examples of this in everyday life. Just a couple days ago I noticed something related in my bathroom, which has a small window. On the wall next to the window I noticed a very diffused image which was blue at the bottom, transitioning to green in the middle and then to red at the top. I thought that was interesting, but it suddenly dawned on me that it was a very out-of-focus upside-down image of the scene outside: the blue was the sky, the green was the trees and the red was the stones in my driveway!
