View Full Version : Canon re-organizes camcorder line up Michael Wisniewski June 9th, 2006, 02:28 PM Canon USA camcorder site (http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ProductCatIndex1Act&fcategoryid=102) Marco Leavitt June 9th, 2006, 02:36 PM Canon, Canon, Canon. What are you up to? George Ellis June 9th, 2006, 07:03 PM Having never been there, I see nothing wrong and think it is well organized. ??? Pete Bauer June 9th, 2006, 07:26 PM Marco, what's the concern? Canon has been fairly clear since the announcement of the XL H1 that they were going to divide their camera models into separate professional and consumer lines. AFAIKT, this update to their web site just emphasizes that. Now, Canon legal just needs to catch up with the rest of Canon Professional...the warranties in the "professional" camera manuals still read like consumer warranties ("...warranted under normal, non-commercial, personal use...") and I don't see any evidence that they've been updated to accommodate the needs of professional shooters. That said, I'm not aware that any pro shooters have been denied warranty service for legitimate camera problems. Bob Zimmerman June 10th, 2006, 07:49 AM that is clean!! Where is the GL3? |
