Does anyone know if they are compatible with 24F tapes? Chris Hurd June 6th, 2006, 09:32 AM The new Sony M15 and M25 do NOT support Canon's Frame mode, sorry. They should play 50i tapes just fine though. Brad Schreiber June 6th, 2006, 09:43 AM Bunk. I swear XLH1 24F shooters are the red-headed stepchildren of the HDV world. Has anyone heard of a deck on the horizon that will support Canon 24F? Chris Hurd June 6th, 2006, 09:49 AM If there were any such rumor that had the slightest substantiation, it would have already been plastered all over this forum. Robert Sanders June 6th, 2006, 11:44 AM Bunk. I swear XLH1 24F shooters are the red-headed stepchildren of the HDV world. Has anyone heard of a deck on the horizon that will support Canon 24F? I hear that! Rune Thoresen June 8th, 2006, 08:24 AM Both models also released in Norway Just ordered the hvr-m15 - should be delivered tomorrow. Works perfectly, only not with 25F... thanks vincent - are you using pal or ntsc Vincent Rozenberg June 10th, 2006, 05:14 AM 25F, so PAL. I'm a Dutchie.. Chris Hurd June 10th, 2006, 02:20 PM I can *practically* guarantee that since the 50hz models don't play 25F, the 60hz models won't play 30F or 24F either. Simply put, if the M15 and M25 could handle Canon's Frame mode, we would have heard about it by now. |
