Well then. As you can see my name is Amit and I'm 16 years old. I live right outside of Philadelphia and I film (using the world film as loosely as possible) with a Sony Dcr-Vx2000 like a good amount of others on this site. I just got this camera a few days ago. Previously I had a Panny 3 chip (gs120, one of the lower models) but somebody offered me a good price for it so I sold it after having it for only 3 months.

I am looking to shoot skateboarding with my Vx like I have been doing with my past cameras however now I would like to broaden my horizon by getting into differant types of videoography which is why I have joined this site (which is setup VERY nicely might I add).

Hey Amit, I saw that you said you are shooting skateboarding. I'm 19 and I was quite into skateboarding in my younger days. I remember watching great skate videos like Fulfill the Dream and Menikmati. I imagine it would be fun to shoot that kind of stuff. I'd love to know how it turns out.
