I have a question for some of you more technically savy people. I had this really awsome Idea for a sequence I want to do that involves two cameras spaced 4inches apart (focused on the same object with multiple jump cuts back and forth spaced only frames apart in the timeline. I want to apply the idea of stereo photography to video to create a 3d "trippy" kind of image. my problem is that I have two completely different cameras and I need a way to measure the focal legth to match the cameras exactly. Is there some kind of rig or otherwise that I can set up to make sure the focal legths are matched and that both cameras are focused on the same point? The physical position of the cameras is not as important and just happens to be the easiest thing to adjust. Go figure :)
