Here are some grabs from a film Im working on. Theyve only had auto CC for now. Im still very early on in the project. Everything was shot on an XL2. The grabs that are soft were because the camera was panning or the subject was moving. Shot at 24P 2:3:3:2 16x9. I bought the camera from a board member a few months ago. This is the first thing Ive done with it and Im quite happy. ENjoy!

Was curious what kind of settings you used for the factory shot. Look forward to seeing it when you are finsihed.

Most of the in camera settings were taking off the www.dvfilm.com website for the xl2. I think I may have changed 1 or 2 things slightly. Again Ill have to check on the camera when i get a moment or maybe I can just upload the presets. That website lists what the optimum settings are if youre planning on transferring to film which I hope happens down the line. I used a Graduated ND6 filter on that shot as well.
