Are they similars? Which one has more advantages? They (those at the company) even pretty much admit that you don't want to use anything other than a condenser mic, due to high levels of hiss when using dynamic mics. However, the Tascam cannot do XLR line In, regardless of what the manual or the printed "Line In" on the casing said. Dean Sensui January 1st, 2007, 01:55 PM A friend who is a recording artist and an excellent recording engineer has worked with the Tascam P2 and had nothing but good things to say about it. Wonderful performance, absolutely silent operation. It does have two channel XLR in with phantom power. That's what he was using for some field recording sessions recentlly. |
