Hi,

The boss is using a mixer that outputs phantom power on all channels,
but he wants to plug in a sennheiser EW-100 along with some PZM
mics that need phantom. Before he wrecks the wireless, does anyone
know for sure that the EW-100 is canNOT be harmed by phantom?

Why don't you connect through a blocking capacitor and not worry about it?

the ew-100 is actually an unbalanced output. I'm thinking it will smoke really well. How about an in-line XLR DC blocker? Galaxy audio makes something called the JIB/Y that will do that...

my ew-500 has a balanced out, but you'd still never see me intentionally plug it into a phantom powered input...
