Hi all,
Some people around here are talking about firmware upgrades.
Some of them, in my opinion, will NEVER see the light, but there's at least one that Sony should do.
Here goes: When the 4:3 crop marks are visible on the 16:9 LCD, they present ALL the 4:3 image.
And they should mark ONLY the Safe image area.
The LCD shows the safe area for 16:9 and if we want to see ALL we can program a button for Underscan.
The 4:3 marks always give us the underscan image size.
I believe that those marks should be presented in the safe image position, in order for us to know properly what's inside and outside the image in 4:3 mode.
Hope that SONY reads this.
Or someone that knows a lot of programming... ... ...
Can it can be made?
Carlos
