Please advise; I feel this is a silly question, but just to be safe...does any mini DV tape head cleaner work for any mini DV camera? I have a Sony tape head cleaner tape and a Canon GL2 camera...I'm assuming that using the brands together don't matter, but I know there's a debate about using certain brands of actual DV tape in certain brands of cameras, so I just wanted to check.

Use the dry head cleaning tape not the "wet" one.

As for me, I have a JVC tape head cleaner.

Would somebody know if it has dry heads?

It says on the package whether it's wet or dry.
