I can't seem to find the answer ... "High HD optimized"
anyone know what this is compared to "High HD" ?
cheers
Pete

It is a little better, "optimized" for uncompressed footage. High Optimized was added for direct capture for the Canon and JVC HD cameras (when bypassing the MPEG compression via HDSDI or component outputs.)

Thanks David for your quick response
my reference, in this instance was to export as an .AVI file ...
I assume then that the difference, if any is slight?
cheers

Yes, slight, but worth having.
