I was going to get a HD100 still as I plan to really just do Independent Film with it, and maybe some Documentary stuff, so I don't think I need the features of the HD200, but I like the idea of being able to Overcrank the 60P.

Since they are due in October, when do companies usually have them for order?

I'd imagine you could place a tentative order with your dealer now and he/she will get it in the system as soon as the time is right.
I ordered our two HD100s back in May of 2005 and they didn't arrive until August. Of course they were two of the first to make it to North America and I had to exchange them for new units that were calibrated better... but you get the idea.
