Can I use the Sennheiser wireless handheld mic (EW135P-G2) with the Sennheiser Evolution Wireless 100 G2 receiver? So I can have the one receiver to work with both a lav and a handheld? At different times of course!

I haven't tried it yet with my set as I have only had need thus far for the lapel mic - however I've heard the idea tossed around a bit. For convenience, what would likely make sense to me would be to have both the lapel mic transmitter and the handheld transmitter set to different frequencies, and then you can just switch from one to the other on the receiver as the need arises. It seems plausible.

Yes, you can do this. I do this with the G1 Plug on and Lav. But, yes make sure that only one is on at a time, that means the other completely off, not just muted. I'd rather get two receivers for flexibility, for instance, I have talent wearing the lav, interviewing the subject - therefore none of that akward mic moving. The Lav and Plug on are on the same, and then I have another plug on set. Make sure to order the same frequency block. Sennheiser produces them in 4 (not sure) blocks.

My only gripe of doing this with the Sennheiser, is that you have to hold down the button, as opposed to a switch. Which means, if you need to turn off a transmitter, that the talent has in hand, you cant usually instruct them to just turn it off, unless the know.
