Alright guys and gals, I'm upgrading my computer and work area finally to support dual monitors etc. This is what I want, and I'd love some suggestions on what I should choose based on your experiences.
What I use and have now:
XP w/ 512MB PC800 RAM
WD 80G 7200 Drive
WD 40G 7200 Drive
80GB Firewire External Drive
Promise Ultra133 controller card
DVD ROM, 48X CDR, Sony DRU-500A DVD -/+ R -/+RW
Nvidia GeForce 2 Ultra 64MB
4 port FireWire PCI Card
19" Sony Trinitron Flat CRT VGA
Post Software:
Premiere 6.5
Photoshop 7.0
DvdIt PE
GL2 w/ 4k worth of other stuff from ZOTZ THE BEST!
I want a dual monitor setup for my work area in Premiere. I would also like a Professional NTSC/PAL monitor to preview output from Premiere. I would rather not deal w/ any Canopus/Pinnacle products, as I really don't need all that software etc. I'd like to achive what I want with just one more 19" CRT and then a NTSC monitor hooked up to a dual or 3 monitor display card. Is this possible using Premiere and what I have now? Thanks for your time guys/gals!
