"At NAB 2006, Apple made several small announcements including: native 24p support in Final Cut Pro for Sony XD CAM HD camera and JVC GY-HD100 U camera; native 24f HDV editing in Final Cut Pro for Canon XL-H1; a niversal version of Shake 4.1; a new Final Cut Studio website with new content; an a new17-inch MacBook Pro notebook computer."

Does anyone have any more news about this? I can't find anything on Apple's site to confirm this.

THere are several threads around here where people who were at NAB saw that Final Cut is now editing the JVC 24P and the Canon 24F. The Apple people there are hinting at a downloadable update in the near future.
