if you want to do commercials .. then you go to production company's that produce commercials .. if music video's then company's that do music video's .. commercial/video house may have 3-15 directors and they are always looking for new talent ... many times producers of these company's may see a short at a festival and contact the filmmaker - send your shorts to big & small key festivals ...

in LA you would look in the 411 .. in SF the reel directory .. in your area ??
