Is the DVX100 really that noisy. Do you guys and gals, think it is noticible. Also has anybody personally compared to the PD-150, in low light. Low light for me is like a wedding reception, sometimes(rare) it will be dark with a disco ball or something random like that. I know the PD150 will do what i want, but its just old, the panny is brand spanking new. I read somewhere that it can be tweaked to ive sony look. I would play with progressive, but not main focus. I just want clear, sharp, true color wedding shots under low light situations. Thanks for all your help. Any information to take note on for both the PD150 and DVX100 is much appreciated as I will be ordering camera withint the week.

Thanks,

Has anybody here ordered, bhphoto, bwayphoto, amphotoworld, or cheap places like that?

I just posted about the B&H price of the PD-150 dropping to $2999.95. I think you should call them and order one.
I know you are wishy-washy about the whole thing (it's a hard decision), heck you've been posting all over the place asking about this and that and the other cameras but it always comes back to the PD-150.
It really is a great camera and I don't believe you will be disappointed. It may be "old" but that means that all the bugs should be worked out by now. The DVX100 is a "brand spanking new" camera but there are a number of little problems with it, just like the title of this post. If you want the latest and greatest you have to suffer the early adopters syndrome and it's not always great.
If you want a sharp, compact, low lite capable, sturdy, industry proven video and audio quality camera then BUY the PD-150. You said yourself you wouldn't use the progressive scan or 24P so why would you buy the DVX100 when what you really want is a PD-150.
come'on...you know you want it...just commit before they decide to quit making it and then you have to start all over. If it helps, I am buying the same camera from the same place in a couple of weeks. (I have purchased from them for years without any problems)
