I have jsut shot 15 rolls at 720p30. I selectively and successfully digitized sequences from the first 5 rolls with Avid Liquid, then after that, most, but not all, digitized sequences lose sound after a couple of seconds and also lose some frames. The from roll 8 or 9, things semms to get back to normal. It seems to be something on the tape (?) but I can't think what.

The tape plays just fine, even when digitizing. It's only on the playback of the clips that you find the problem. I've gone back to redigitze roll 4 for example and it's fine!

I've changed players, cables, digitized through the BOB and direct 1394, etc. always with the same result.

I've talked to Avid, Dell and ATI. JVC doesn't return calls. No solutions as of yet.

Any ideas?
