Heya,

Just wanted to say a big hello to all my friends here after escaping to the sun and fun for a couple weeks.

John and Jeff, i took lots of happy snaps i will be scanning soon, so at least you can feel like you party took part in the lazy days.

Now that i am back i saw i have 11 pages of new topics to look through, and am reading fast.

Oh btw Jeff, i found those cokin filters, i am eager to try them out. I am buying all the stuff i need tommorow for developing b&w film, i found a person who is selling it off, i think it is a few years old, but i doubt anything has changed in the last few years. I even found the funky bag with the special holes for the arms to go in to, for cracking open the films.

Any advice on the developer to choose, i was just going to get an Ilford liquid developer, i can't remmember the exact same, it is always at the top of all their pdf charts as the best ones for their films, Id-X or something it is called, i could be wrong.

Anyways,

it is good to be back

Zac

P.s I met the crock hunter, he was only 10 minutes away from of the towns i was staying in, went down to the australia zoo and met him and his family, what a funny bloke.

I hope you had a great holiday! I'm going on one myself at the end of March (hot springs). We don't have crocs up here, but we do have cougars.

Hey, Frank, we've got both (well sort of, Florida Panther and Alligators).

Kermie,

Use the Ilford developer that's a one shot (use it and down the drain) and is liquid. Try not to use any powered chemicals, they are a pain in the *ss. You'll need developer, fix and stop bath. A rinse aid helps save on water, photoflo keeps the water from spotting. Good luck and let me know how the negs turn out.

Welcome back, Kermie!

So you met the croc guy, eh? My 10 year-old nephew will swoon when I tell him I know someone who actually met and hung out with the croc guy...he's a die-hard fan, in Texas, where we're croc-less (but we do have tiny alligators and a few fanged nasties).
