Hey, all
I'm experiencing what seems to be an error with Adobe encore. Hope you can help.
I've just finished editing a small film in Premiere Pro and now want to burn it to DVD. My method for doing this is to export the film as an AVI file onto my hardisk and then import it as an asset in Adobe Encore where I can add menus, etc, before burning.
The exported AVI file (viewed through windows media player) exists exactly as I finished it in Premiere, however as soon I import it as an asset in Encore all sorts of very unwanted changes happen to the titles - for example the title of the film, 'drags', fails to appear when it is supposed to, then flashes on and off almost instantaneously; also at the end some of the credits fail to appear. These unwanted changes are apparent in the DVD preview, and in the burnt test copies.
I've had exactly the same sort of problem with titles in trying to burn a past project to DVD using this method. Because i was working to a deadline I had no choice but to make some alterations and work around it. It would be ashame to have to make such sacrifices again.
Has anybody else experienced this? Can anyone explain it?
Thanks
Dave
