Samsung announced Tuesday that it will delay the release of it's Blu-Ray based DVD players till late June.

Well it looks like Toshiba is in the lead with the first HD-DVD player available now, Sony will hopefully come back with a counter for the Blu-Ray side.

www.deepdiscountdvd.com has info on both with the HD-DVD player for sale at under $500, plus four HD-DVDs. I may buy MILLION DOLLAR BABY or CHRONOS, just as a "collector's item." I bought the first DVD in 2000, TWISTER, but it was still from 1997.
I remember waiting three years for DVDs to come out in 1997, but I waited until late-1998 when a Toshiba was only a low price of $250!
