Hey everyone, my name is Matthew Delong and I'm from Ohio. I'm finishing up at Ohio University and getting ready to go out west. I have been in video for for about 5 years. I love to make pretty pictures. This summer I'm going to New Mexico to shoot a DVD yearbook and promotional material for the Boy Scouts of Amercia. I will be there all summer at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. I will either be shooting with a Z1 or an HD100. Without all the info I have gathered from DVi I would have never thought I could have shot in HDV and had a workflow ready by then. I have a daul G5, AJA I/O, Lacie Sata II HD stoage unit, and soon a deck to match what ever camera I get. If anyone has advice for me I will always have an open ear. Thanks DVi and I look forward to meet new people and learn new things.

i moved from ohio to the rocky mountains. okay, so it was 20 years ago...

but here's my advice: water. ibuprofen. don't have children until you've shot all the video you want to shoot.

Glad to know I'm not the only one. I can't wait. Any advice? How do the shooting conditions differ from Ohio.
