Hi, everyone. This is my very first post at dv.com. (I visit simplydv.com frequently.) My English is not quite good because I'm from Korea. Right now I'm living in California, hoping to become a film director someday.
Anyway, I'll tell you how I bought a MX5000 at such a low price. This cam is an absolute steal because it's even cheaper than the TRV50. I'm not saying that the MX5000 is a "dream" cam or something like that, but I want to emphasize the fact that this cam's got the "best" price-to-performance ratio.
Here are several steps you need to do in order to purchase a Mx5000:
1. Go to http://www.pricejapan.com and click on "Ask price quote." Then you'll see a fill-in page.
2. Be sure to put:
*Maker: Panasonic
*model number: NV-MX5000 +(VW-PMX50)
or
"NV-MX3000 + (VW-PMX30)", if you want the MX3000 instead. It's slightly more expensive though.
*site address relevant to item: http://www.kakaku.com
3. After sending the cost estimation, you'll get a reply from the folks at pricejapan.com very soon. You'll be surprised how fast they respond your emails(This is one reason why I like Japan very much!!).
I hope this helps.
