This camera is native 16:9 yet if you choose plain old DV mode you get 3 choices beyond the dafault "NORMAL" that being 4:3....you also get "LETTERBOX" and "SQUEEZE" both 16:9. This is very confusing why make so many choices when most of us choose 4:3 or 16:9. FYI if you want true 16:9 from FC Pro then you must choose "SQUEEZE". Only got the camera today 23rd March 06 so I can't comment on pics etc. till I have used it on a job.
