Hello :-)
OK Guys, I know this could get religious, but let's give it a shot.
I use PPro 1.5 and the Pro production suite. I like the integration between all of the different programs, but PPro seems to crash quite a bit when using acceleration hardware (Canopus-Matrox).
I think that Avid Xpress Pro would keep me compatible with most of my cutters, but a good portion of them are also/exclusively using FCP.
Avid Liquid Pro7 looks great, but it has very little in common with AVID so the compatibility factor would be non-existent and even though the software and breakout box look great... who's to say it won't crash as much as PPro and Canopus?? So then it is just another learning curve and investment with a negative net result.
I would be extremely happy if the new version of PPro would be more stable with Matrox :-(
What are your opinions on the topic??
Thanks Guys !!
