I just shot these clips a couple of hours ago. I just love this little camera.

I don't know why the link was bad, but I re-named it to see if that works.

Looks nice but I always want to know about the "secret sauce" ingrediants.
Did you use dolly or a steadycam like device?
What were your camera settings? (detail, sharpness, color, gamma, etc.)
Did you use any filters?
Did you do any "correction" in post?
Nice DOF. What'd you do for that?

I use a dolly on tracks
Factory Settings at F4, 1/60th sec, 0 dbs gain, manual WB I also used a Kodak Gray card for post color corrections. I also used 3 lights plus sunlight was coming in and the place had some florescent lights also. (Not your ideal lighting)
I use a diffuser on post to cut the harshness of HD.
Yes, I use the Vectorscope & Waveform Monitor to get the whites ti white, the blacks to black and the colors to were they look better.
It was a rush job that had to be ready today, so I did everything myself.
I'll post the finished promo sometime.

F4 gives nice depth of field but also excellent contrast and sharpness right up until infinity focus at maximum zoom, whereupon it helps to stop-down the aperture a bit.

The first clip and the final product look great.
Question though and please excuse my ignorance: The clips were shot in 1080i? I'm not sure why QT doesn't display the first clips in a larger window at normal size if it's full resolution. Maybe my monitor/player settings are wrong.
And the output was in SD? Did you de-interlace? And by which method? Thanks!

It was shot at 1080i but in order to put it in my page I had to reduce 1/3 the size in sorenson 3. The finished one was done with the DV codec for DVD and reduced in 1/2 for the net.
