Hi all,

I can't afford a manfrotto tripod with all the other stuff I'm paying for, but I'm in need of an inexpensive tripod that is not a true fluid head but simulates it well. Any particular brand that you would recommend? I'm doing my shopping at Henrys.

First, what else are you paying for? The type of camera is important. Also, what is your intented type of use (what are you shooting)? List your purchases and people here can tweak your decision process. If you spend too little on a tripod, you will possibly be throwing money away.

Used/second hand tripod is a good option too.
