I see Apple is going to release a universal Final Cut Pro version for both
the PowerPC & Intel Chip based Apples. Does anyone know if in this release there will be HD-100U 720 24p HDV support?

No it currently is just the universal version of 5.0.4.

Ok, what is your best guess when the HD100U 24p will
be released to support FCP? NAB?

Probably NAB. But that's just a guess.
They will also have to add support for the XLH1 and XDCAM HD, so they'll probably do it all at once in version 6.

And pretty please - with sugar on top - support for PAL 25p HDV for the JVC HD100? We've been waiting ages, still hearing the same loop: JVC "Apple have to do it", Apple "it's JVC's problem". LumiereHD is NOT an option :)
