In a four-disk data system, if I were to combine the locations of the six scratch disk settings, which settings would best maximize my project?

Captured audio and video on separate disks and combine video and audio previews to the same scratch disk? Combine media cache and DVD encoding? Can anyobody offer better combinations than the aforementioned?

Also, if I decided to setup a RAID array, how does that affect scratch disk settings? Do I need to even specify scratch disk locations with a RAID array?

would recommend next drive configuration:

1. OS on one drive
2. page file on another
3. captured on next
4. Preview / media / final rendered files on next

project files you can probably put anywhere you want - they don't eat speed.
