I have read alot of posts on this camera and so many opionions it gets confusing.

I have one qustion there is a switch for shooting on hd or DV now with the DV setting can I use adobe premiere pro 2.0 to edit untill I can get the equipment needed for shooting HD later on?

Yes there is a switch for operating this camera in standard definition DV mode, no need to change your editing set-up when you shoot that way.

i was just going to post one last question before i decide to pic this camera up..the manual just seems to cover the bacics.

i own a canon xl1 now and had a sony vx2000 before noiced it was better in low light but like the quality of the canon better.

this jvc cam ok in low light..well at least better then the xl1?
