Have any of you guys started adding more services to your business? For instance, I currently offer videography services for weddings and pretty much any kind of event but I want to branch out even further. I am a motorcycle enthusiast and now I'm adding motorcycle videos as another service to my business. I have added front and rear cameras to my motorcycle and they produce pretty smooth and clear videos that I put on DVD's. I'm also a certified scuba diver and I'm thinking about also adding underwater video to my list of services. I figure this might fill in more time in the wedding off season.

I'd love to hear what you guys offer that's different as well.

Regards,
Eric

You might check into taping legal depositions. Not terribly exciting, but there's pretty decent money there if you can find work.

it's all about delivery formats in this day and age... learn how to charge 'em for turning that dvd video into web video, ipod video, etc.

for instance, you should be upselling the capability to stream that wedding video over the web, for people who are out of town... charge 'em per stream ahead of time, or with a credit card deposit for multiple streams... you can buy streams on a windows media server to serve it off of.

Lots of seminars (some taped and edited some just projected) training vids,a few TV commericals, promo work for a radio station...if it's legal, moral and non-fattening I'll probably do it and frankly I'm not worried about non-fattening! (o_o)
