I just got a Magiqcam second hand and it did not come with an instructional manual. I have got the balance nearly perfect but I'm finding that there is a lot of vertical motion transferred to the camera when I walk. It feels as if the camera is moving with the springs in the arm as I walk. Any ideas if this is operator error, a balancing problem or perhaps I need to loosen the springs (if that is possible).
My second question is about balancing. As I understand it, the sled should have a 2-3 second drop time. Should the bottom end be slightly heavier than the end with the camera? If the bottom was too heavy (a quicker drop time) could that cause the problem I'm having?
Thanks for any help. I'm using the Magiqcam 11a with the bundled sled, no battery or monitor, and a VX2100 with a WA lens.
